5 Easy Steps to Submitting Business Online with The Melton
Step 1. Register
Register for an online account where you will be able to submit a Decision in Principle (DIP) and a full mortgage applicaition. Once you have completed your first application, you can also use the tracking and document upload facilities.
Step 2. Review Criteria
Please ensure you review our criteria to check your customer’s application meets our requirements.
You can view our Lending Criteria Guidelines for all basic criteria initially, if you can’t find what you are looking for or have a more complex case, please contact our broker support team on 01664 414144.
Step 3. Affordability Calculator
See how much your customer can borrow using our Online Affordability Calculator.
Step 4. DIP
Submit a DIP by logging in to your online account and clicking on the New Application button.

Step 5. Application
Once you have an accepted DIP, you can click the Apply button to proceed to a full application.
Once you have submitted the full application, you will be able to access the document upload service to upload all supporting documents. Please ensure you submit the minimum required documents appropriate to your application type:
